Jesus paints a beautiful illustration of just who our neighbors are. They are not just the guy next door, or the house over the hill top - Our neighbors are you and I, they are in Argentina, India, Mauritania, all around the globe.
But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. Luke 10:29 - 37- 37,
You are in for a BLESSING as you browse these pages. The Lord works in mysterious ways and sometimes not so mysterious, and if he can speak to his people through an old stubborn mule (Numbers 22 : 21-30), HE can and will use the Internet for his glory as well.
If we ALL would just follow the leading the Lord Jesus and allow the leading of Christ’s Spirit to guide our every step, this world would be a much better place to live in. You are our neighbors and we thank God for every one of you.
The Lord spoke these words to me one evening a few years ago, “IF YOU WILL BE FAITHFUL, I WILL DO A WONDERFUL THING IN YOU AND THROUGH YOU”.
That is the same thing God is saying to all of humanity across the fruited plains of America and the world. From sea to shining sea, God is calling HIS church to be FAITHFUL. There are rewards and there is favor to those who are faithful to the voice of the Lord. God has great things in store for those that love and OBEY HIM
But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. Psalms 5:11
Could you imagine that - almighty God HIMSELF defending you? The bible further declares that if God be for you, WHO could be against you? I will gladly answer that for you, “NO BODY”! NOBODY can be against the faithful children of the Lord.
